Return Policy

At The Mercantile, we are committed to providing you with quality designer pieces at the best price. To do so, we are mindful of other costs such as returns processing. We want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept your timely return of unworn, unwashed, eligible items. 

Used merchandise may not be returned. If you believe an item to be faulty or defective, please see the guidelines for our faulty item policy.
Additionally, because we are refreshing our inventory daily to offer you a perennially refreshed selection, we are unable to house some returned items in our warehouse.
This means we're unfortunately unable to accept returns for some items. 
Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of receipt of the item, if returned later, a restocking fee of up to 50% may be applied or the return may not be accepted and sent back to the buyer. Note: You are responsible for return shipping fees.
Products eligible for return must be unworn, unwashed and in the original condition it was received. With all tags and original packaging still attached. Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags, and leather tags should be included in your return. Returns that are damaged, marked, or altered will not be accepted and sent back to the buyer, as well as returns missing any attached tags or original packaging.
Breakdown of non returnable items, all other items are returnable. Please note exceptions may apply. The Mercantile reserves the right at its sole discretion to revise the list of non returnable items at any time.

All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until you are 100% sure you are keeping them. Shoes should be returned unmarked and in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered a part of the product. Shoes that are returned without a box or with scratched soles will not be accepted and will be sent back to the buyer.

If you believe an item to possess a manufacturer defect, please contact us at 601-568-3672 or and we will be happy to assist you in the claims process with the manufacturer. Due to the nature of our product distribution, we can not be held accountable for any manufacturer defects as we are not the manufacturer. Items that are damaged through normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

We offer a flexible return policy to ensure your online shopping experience is optimal. We do monitor the number of returns made by customers and continued returns may be flagged and potentially refused at our sole discretion.


Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after receiving the item.  We will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
